What is Custom Action?
The Custom Action is the most flexible action in the Soundcraft Control plugin. It allows you to send any command to your Soundcraft UI series mixer with a single button press, making it perfect for advanced users who need specific control over their mixer.

Configuration Options
IP Address
Enter your Soundcraft UI series mixer's IP address to establish the WebSocket connection.
Channel Name
Specify single channels (e.g., "i.1") or stereo pairs (e.g., "l.0,l.1"). Used with {channel} placeholder in commands for dynamic channel targeting.
Custom Commands
Multi-line commands using format 3:::SETD^{channel}.parameter^value. Use {channel} placeholder for dynamic targeting:
• 3:::SETD^{channel}.mute^1
• 3:::SETD^{channel}.mix^0.75
• 3:::SETD^{channel}.gain^0.8
• 3:::SETD^{channel}.fx.0.value^0.5
• 3:::SETD^{channel}.pan^-0.5
Show Mute State
Display [M] indicator when the channel is muted for instant visual feedback.
Show Volume Level
Display the current volume percentage on the button for precise level monitoring.
Toggle Mute on Long Press
Enables mute toggle when button is held for 800ms or longer. Short press executes commands, long press toggles mute.
Button Title
Set a custom button label that will display on your Stream Deck button.
Button Icon
Custom icon functionality (currently implemented in code but not available in the configuration UI).
Common Use Cases
Scene Changes
Create buttons like 'Mute All Vocals' (SETD^i.1.mute^1) or 'Solo Lead Guitar' (SETD^i.3.solo^1) for instant show control.
Complex Routing
Set up routing commands like 'Send Piano to Reverb' (SETD^i.2.fx.0.value^0.8) or adjust aux sends with one press.
Effects Control
Create preset buttons like 'Heavy Reverb' (SETD^i.1.fx.0.value^0.9) or 'Dry Vocal' (SETD^i.1.fx.0.value^0.0).
Quick Adjustments
Set up buttons for common tasks like 'Center Pan' (SETD^i.1.pan^0.0) or 'Boost Guitar' (SETD^i.3.gain^0.85).
